Tom Wood – Nurburgring Endurance Series

“For me, being comfortable is everything when racing. The Walero base-layers are super comfortable and help regulating my body temperature. They allow me to have full concentration on my driver, eliminating factors such as fatigue.”

A talented youngster with pedigree in both single seater and sports car racing, Tom Wood has certainly made a name for himself GT racing.

Tom started out in karting when he was just 6 years old, where he won 12 out of the 18 races he competed in in the Bambino class.

He moved into bigger karts and in the cadet class from the age of 8 until the age of 13. Tom went on to winning the TVKC club championship, LGM national championship, as well as winning multiple rounds in the British championship placing 3rd in 2013. In 2015, he won the British FKS championship and the British Kart grand prix, as well as achieving driver of the day out of the 200 plus drivers taking part. The championship is one of the most competitive GT4 championships in the world with more than 40 cars competing. The championship covers five countries racing round some of the most famous circuits in the world.

In 2022, Tom competed in a dual campaign across Europe, in ADAC GT4 with Racing One and the Radical SR1 Pro championship with Team Derby Motorsport respectively. Tom would claim multiple podium finishes and pole positions as the team narrowly missed out on the ADAC title after fierce competition.
