Chandler Horton – Walero Ambassador

“I’ve never been one to enjoy being in my gear outside of the car as it’s usually quite itchy and uncomfortable. However, Walero has changed that for me with their super-soft material and proper fit. Now I never want to get out of it! Not to mention the temperature regulation is a life saver in the hot Midwestern summers allowing me to stay cool and focused all weekend long.”

Chandler began his racing career at the age of 5 at the local dirt track where he raced flat track motorcycles for three years.

After his stint in flat track, he moved on to race motocross locally and regionally around the Midwest until the age of 12.

Following an email of a Craigslist ad from his dad, Chandler received his first yard kart and hasn’t looked back since.

He began his karting career locally at New Castle Motorsports Park competing in the Yamaha Jr series, as well as running select Indy Karting Series events amassing multiple victories. He continued to move up the ranks as he began racing in the TaG Sr field at KRA, WKA, and USPKS series events, achieving multiple pole positions and podiums.

Chandler transitioned into race cars in 2016 as he began competing in SCCA Formula F events, claiming multiple victories. Following his time in Formula F, he moved up to the USF2000 series on the Road to Indy for a part time schedule in 2017. He also made his debut in the F4US Championship for two rounds that year. 2018 saw him compete in the majority of F4US Championship events with the startup team, Gas Monkey Energy Alliance Racing. He plans to compete full-time in the 2019 F4US Championship and make a strong run for the title.

In addition to being an aspiring professional race car driver, Chandler is also a full-time student at Marian University in Indianapolis. While pursuing a Management degree, he also competes on their nationally-ranked cycling team. A huge advocate of fitness and cycling, Chandler is one of the fittest drivers in the world. Following his physiological testing at the end of 2018 at Michigan State University, he has the numbers to prove it.

Chandler’s season begins April 18th at Road Atlanta. To stay up to date with his latest news, you can follow him on social-media @chandlerjhorton.
