Hard working, dedicated and humble, Charlie Lower represents the core of what grassroots and national racing competition can offer in the UK.

Joining the Walero family for the 2022 season, Charlie has dedicated his life to pursue his goals in motorsport after being bitten by the motorsport bug at a young age!

After honing his racing skills in various autocross and hillclimb events across the rolling hills and lush countryside of Kent and Sussex, Charlie achieved his dream of competing in National competition after he was selected to enter the Caterham Academy programme in 2021.

Charlie would storm to the title with a series of mighty performances to take the Academy crown, an unprecedented achievement for a rookie in his maiden season of racing.

For 2022, Charlie would take the next step to the Caterham Roadsport championship and after an intense season long battle between himself and several other drivers, he would finish as Vice-Champion, narrowly missing out on the title.

In 2023, the challenge of the revered 270R championship awaits Charlie and he has gotten the season off to a fantastic start by securing a podium finish in the opening round of the season at Oulton Park.
