Amazing Double Podium for Aiden Moffat and Another Great Weekend on the Podium for Sebastian Priaulx.
Aiden Moffat, Walero ambassador, enjoys an amazing double podium finish for the second round of racing in the British Touring Car Championship
(BTCC), which took place at Donington Park. After a heartbreaking opener to the first round of the BTCC, Aiden certainly put that in the past and did not let that get in the way of what we know he is capable of. Instead, Aiden came out stronger and even more determined to take those rightfully earned podium spots. Aiden started Race 1 in 5th position on the grid and with his hunger to climb up the pack, Aiden drove an incredible race to secure a P3 finish! A difficult result for Race 2 resulted in Aiden starting Race 3 in 15th position on the grid. Aiden yet again showed how good he is at hunting down the pack, climbing up the positions to secure another and second for the day, podium finish to take p3! An amazing round of racing for Aiden now positions him in 6th place in the overall Championship!
The Second Race of British F4, the Second Podium for Sebastian
In just the second weekend of racing in a new series, Walero ambassador Sebastian has certainly shown what it takes to contend for the Championship in the British F4 securing another podium finish. On his debut weekend of racing in the F4, Sebastian showed his incredible ability to meet the demands of the new challenge in his racing career to take a first place finish. In tough, wet conditions qualifying was difficult but Sebastian managed to do well to secure 4th position on the grid for Race 1. An incredible start off the line for Race 1, Sebastian was putting on the heat challenging the racers ahead. It was then not long after Sebastian performed some skilled driving to overtake two drivers, to take himself in p2! Keeping his nerve and keeping his rhythm, Sebastian took another incredible podium finish, securing p2! Race 2 proved to be difficult but Sebastian was still showing positive signs of his capabilities to perform in this new step up. Sebastian finished Race 2 in 6th position and took home a 5th position in Race 3, still maintaining his amazing record of finishing within the top 6!
Lewis Plato takes 1st Place
The second weekend of racing for Walero ambassador, Lewis Plato, in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB. Lewis has shown some promising driving, showcasing his talent to be a worthy contender for the Championship title.The opening round of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB was unfortunate for Lewis not to take a victory but shown some very promising racing. This was then yet again seen in this weekends second round, as Lewis stunned with his incredible driving to this time take the rightfully achieved victory!
A fantastic result for Matt Nicoll-Jones securing a podium finish this weekend in the GT4 Series at Rockingham. Matt, a
professional race driver who is partnered up this season with Walero Owner and Founder, Fiona James, for the GT4 European Series. Alongside the GT4 European series, Matt is also racing in the GT4 series and enjoyed a fantastic podium finish this weekend achieving a p2 finish in their class and a p3 overall!
Another Walero ambassador, Katie Milner, was also at Rockingham this weekend for the second weekend of racing in the Ginetta G5 Championship. A tricky weekend for Katie, but some superb racing and a lot of positives to take away! Katie has shown an incredible desire to never give up and continues to strive for top positions. Incredibly, Katie managed to climb up the ranks from 14th position, to finish in 4th place! Unfortunately for Katie, the race wasn’t quite long enough – otherwise with this desire she would have clinched podium!
