As debut seasons go in Motorsport, Louis Foster has excelled in more ways than one. A constant figure at the top of the Indy Pro ranks in only his first season stateside is an achievement that simply cannot be ignored.

As the season progressed Louis’s raw pace and talent shone through with a series of multiple podium finishes and winning streaks at any track that was thrown his way. The culmination of this incredible series awaited in Portland as the NTT IndyCar series moved towards the season finale at Leguna Seca.

Entering the race weekend with an extremely comfortable points lead of over 77 points to Reece Gold in P2, Louis once again claimed the first pole position of the weekend.

The first race saw Louis challenged by Gold in the opening part of race one, but he remained in first place as an incident between Siegel, Porto and Miller promoted Ahmed to third behind the leading pair. Foster’s seventh win of the season earned him the championship and the champagne soon followed.

Race two saw Gold lead from pole and dominate the race, as Porto slotted into second ahead of Foster at the start. Foster was still battling for second despite having already sealed the championship, and eventually passed Porto, but Gold had pulled out a gap to the rest of the field by then and won the race.

Overall a great season for Louis as his skill and determination showed through, 2023 holds the start of a new, exciting chapter for Louis as he embarks on a debut Indy Lights campaign with the highly successful Andretti Autosport outfit.
