After his podium success at Donington Park, Nelson King has wasted no time in getting up to speed in the JCW ranks by claiming his maiden win at Snetterton!
As sunny skies and warm weather greeted the BTCC circus for round three of the championship at Snetterton in Norfolk, Nelson King and his team at Graves Motorsport were eager to make an impression after a very positive start to the Mini Challenge season.
Nelson would secure P6 in the opening race of the weekend after a fantastic battle amongst the leading pack, before gaining two places in the second race of the day to finish P4.
Securing the reverse grid pole for race three, Nelson would dominate at the front of field, keeping the leaders at bay to secure his maiden Mini Challenge JCW podium and with it a fantastic ending to a successful weekend in Norfolk for himself and the team!
“First win in the JCW – what a feeling!”
“A massive thank you to my team for all of the tireless work behind the scenes making this win possible. We’ve had a hard start to the season tackling power issues but the hard work has paid off and it’s nice to finally be able to reward the team with a great result.”
