Vaughn Gittin Jr – A hard fought second place

A challenging and demanding season in Ultra4 came to a close for Vaughn Gittin Jr as he closed out his season in style at Oklahoma.

A battling and demanding Ultra4 season was rounded out in style by Vaughn Gittin Jr and the RTR team at the National Championships in Oklahoma. Taking the green flag on Saturday at the unique course set at the base of the Grand Lake, Vaughn quickly made steady and methodical progress through the course, recording both fast and consistent lap times on his way up the race order.

Vaughnโ€™s race would prove to be a challenging one as he lost three out of the four elements of his all-wheel drive system on his Ford Bronco, meaning he had to battle the harsh conditions with rear-wheel drive for the remainder of the day. Vaughn finished 2nd in both the 4400 and 4600 Nitto National Championships this season whilst bringing home the Championship for the East Division of the 4600 class!
