Vaughn Gittin Jr. – South Dakota Showdown

A challenging Ultra4 event in South Dakota yielded a hard fought P5 result for Vaughn as he battled from the back of the pack in tough terrain with the RTR team!

A trip to the heat and dust of South Dakota and the Black Hills in Ultra4 resulted in a battling weekend for Walero athlete Vaughn Gittin Jr and his RTR team.

A strong qualifying on the Saturday meant that Vaugh started in P2 for Sunday’s first heat race, however a freak roll over resulted in an unfortunate DNF.

The final heat of the day would see Vaughn battle back from the back of the pack in challenging conditions and register a hard fought P5 finish!

A result that pays testimony to Vaughn’s skill and determination as he looks to continue a highly successful season in Ultra4. Up next for Vaughn is the Crandon Classic in Wisconsin on the 31st of August 2022.

“Not exactly the outcome we were hoping for but I am incredibly proud of this team! Pumped for Crandon”
